As your collaborative partner, I will guide you through the goal setting and job search process to make it as painless and successful as possible. You will work directly with me – your personal career coach. I will take the time to really get to know you as an individual so that I can position you for success.
The process is simple! First, call my office for a free no-obligation consultation to determine your specific needs. Should we both feel we are a good fit, I will then email you a customized proposal outlining 3 different package options. Once you select your package and return the signed agreement, I will email you a secure PayPal invoice. Upon receipt of your paid order, I will contact you to schedule a Client Intake Session to develop our strategy and gather the information necessary to craft your documents. If you are within 100 miles of our CT office, I prefer that we meet face-to-face. If that is not possible, we can conduct this intake session over the phone, as long as you do not mind a long conversation or two. This is the most important part of the process. After all, the better I know you, the better I can sell you to a prospective employer.
I will collaborate with you and design professional documents that reflect your professional branding. If you have an old resume, I can use that as a starting point. If you do not have a resume, I have a Resume Questionnaire that you can complete. I take pride in the quality of my work and write all resumes, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles myself — I do not utilize subcontractors. I am fortunate to have a support staff to assist me with back office functions which frees me up to meet 1:1 with clients and personally create all client documents.
The strongest resumes are targeted towards a specific job of interest, so I will ask you to provide a job posting to which you would like to apply. As part of the writing process, I will email you document drafts for your review and revision. Revisions are exchanged via email and/or telephone. The same easy development process will then be utilized for your cover letter and LinkedIn profile.
While the complexity of your project determines the turnaround time for finished products, the whole process typically takes 10 to 14 days from our Client Intake Session. Rush service is available for an additional fee; please mention this when you place your order. I am committed to your complete satisfaction, and will provide up to 3 rounds of revisions within 30 days of your initial order.
In support of my green initiative, you will receive your draft and final documents electronically in Microsoft® Word. I will explain how you can quickly customize these documents as needed for future job postings.
